Good Evening Rockets, Just a reminder of a few updates for the upcoming week. Information for Goodies with Grands will be coming home on Wednesday, August 30th. Please make sure you sign up for breakfast goodies with students.
September 1st is the last day to purchase technology insurance for your student's device. Devices will be sent home after Labor Day.
We have seen an increased amount of illness since school has started. If your child has a fever, please do not send them to school. If your child tests positive for Covid, please use the reporting link on the District Website.
If your student's transportation changes, please send a note with your student. It is very difficult to permit last minute changes through email or by phone.
The tardy bell rings daily at 7:45 am. Please make sure your student arrives on time daily and remains at school until 2:40 pm. It is extremely important for their success at school.
Finally, there will be no school on Monday, September 4th in observance of Labor Day. We hope that everyone has a wonderful evening! We look forward to seeing our Rockets bright and early tomorrow morning!
Good afternoon Rockets. This is a reminder that Fall Individual Pictures will be taken tomorrow, August 24th. Information regarding payment has been shared with each student. You may purchase pictures online or send payments with your child. We will have a make up scheduled date in September if your student is absent. Please let us know if you should have any questions. Awards Celebration for the 1st Semester
🚀Parent / Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Thursday, January 19th and Friday, January 20th.
🚀Awards Day is scheduled for Monday, January 23rd for grades K-5. Pre K will have their awards ceremony on Tuesday, January 24th.
🚀Literacy Night and SC Ready Night is Scheduled for Thursday, January 26th at 6:00 pm. Pizza will be served in the classroom with special activities planned by your child’s teacher. Make plans to attend this informative evening!

Good Evening Rockets,
Just a few reminders for the week. NES will observe Election Day on Tuesday, November 8th. Students will not attend school and the front office will be closed. Fall Make Up Pictures are scheduled for Wednesday, November 9th. Please check your child's folder for an order form. If you would like for your child to receive a make up picture, please send a note to your child's homeroom teacher.
Thursday, November 10th is our Thanksgiving Luncheon. Forms were sent home last week with your student. Please call the front office if you have any questions. On Friday, November 11th , our 4th grade students will perform for the Veteran's Day Program. We will begin promptly at 8:30 am. Please join us for a wonderful celebration. Grades 3-5 will view the performance at 8:30 am and Pre-K - 2nd grade will view the performance at 9:30 am. We are looking forward to a wonderful week!
