Sarah Harvey has been in education for 15 years serving as a Social Studies teacher, coach, Assistant Principal, and Career and Technical Education Director. Ms. Harvey has a Bachelor’s Degree from USC-Aiken in Secondary Education, a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University, and an Education Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University. She is a proud Newberry High School graduate. Ms. Harvey believes that each student deserves high quality instruction and a learning environment that utilizes and flourishes individual gifts. She is a Bulldog at heart and is extremely excited to “be home” at Newberry High.

Dr. Carla Cruickshanks received her Bachelors Degree from Newberry College in 2002, Master of Education in Administration and Supervision from Nova Southern University in 2004, and her Doctorate of Education from Walden University in 2010. Dr. Cruickshanks has experience working with all levels of education from 4k to college/universities. She began her career as a teacher at Saluda Middle School and previously served as Curriculum Coordinator and Assistant Principal at Newberry Middle School before coming to NHS for the 2024-2025 school year.

Cornelius Cromer has been in education for 15 years, all of which have been spent in the School District of Newberry County.  He is entering his third year as an administrator at Newberry High School.

 For the first seven years of his career, Mr. Cromer taught Middle Level Science at Newberry Middle School. In 2015, he moved over to Newberry High School to teach Science in the Freshman Academy. 

 Prior to his move into administration, Mr. Cromer coached football and boys soccer at Newberry High School. Additionally, he has served as Assistant Athletic Director at NHS for more than 14 years.

Chris Napier has worked in education for 14 years. Mr. Napier is a proud Career and Technical Education (CTE) Graduate of West Virginia, and earned his Master’s Degree at the University of the Cumberlands.

Mr. Napier is excited to serve the Newberry Community.
